Goan Culinary artifacts on display

 

Herein shown are authentic Goan culinary artifacts and items usually used in Goan cuisne and or preparations.

 

Some items shown alongside are:

1. A wall frame made out of cork used to seal wine bottles.

2. A picture frame of a Goan typical Taverna.

3. A ''supli'' and ''dowle'' used for shafing rice and used as laddles or spoons.

4. Special bottles used to store vinegar and or cashew fenni.

5. A water pot called "gurgureth".

6. Cashew Fenni bought especially from Goa. 

7. An earthern pot called "towlii"

8. Some of our Goan Souvenirs from our many trips back home. 

9. Some home made beer and wine used in Goan cuisine.
